HuntTal (“HuntTal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a resource outsourcing and staffing platform operated by Sky Vista Consulting, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you visit hunttal.com, submit a hiring or consultation request, or use a HuntTal client or resource account (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact and identity information you provide through our contact form, consultation bookings, or hiring requests — name, email address, phone number, company name, and the details of your request.
  • Account information for clients and resources (talent) who register for a HuntTal dashboard account, including login credentials, job or project details, and communications exchanged through the platform.
  • Resource verification information submitted by professionals applying to or working through HuntTal, which may include work history, skills, availability, identity or background-check documentation, and files you choose to upload to your profile.
  • Technical and usage information collected automatically when you visit our site, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, gathered through standard server logs and essential session cookies.

We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels on hunttal.com. If that changes, we will update this Policy and the section on Cookies below.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to hiring requests, consultation bookings, and contact form submissions;
  • Create and administer client and resource accounts, and match resources to client engagements;
  • Verify the identity and background of resources, where applicable and where you have consented;
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Services, including detecting and preventing fraud or abuse;
  • Communicate with you about your account, a request you submitted, or service updates; and
  • Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, including those related to global hiring and payroll.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers who host, secure, or operate parts of the Services on our behalf, including our database and authentication provider (Supabase) and our hosting provider (Vercel). These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us.
  • Clients and resources, where sharing profile or engagement details is necessary to facilitate a hiring match you have requested (for example, sharing a resource's profile with a prospective client, or a client's project brief with a shortlisted resource).
  • Professional advisors such as legal, accounting, or compliance partners involved in hiring models like Employer of Record or Agent of Record arrangements.
  • Legal and safety purposes, where we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, or legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of HuntTal, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in to your HuntTal account and to protect the Services against fraud and misuse. These cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function and are not used to track you across other websites. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may prevent you from signing in to a HuntTal account.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain an active client or resource relationship, and fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including meeting legal, tax, accounting, and reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it, except where longer retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, these rights arise under the UK/EU General Data Protection Regulation. If you are a California resident, you may have similar rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below — we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

7. International Data Transfers

HuntTal operates from offices in the United States and United Kingdom, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to ensure your information remains protected consistent with this Policy.

8. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access-controlled account authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for business use by adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites, including social media platforms. This Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We will post the revised Policy on this page with an updated “Last updated” date, and where changes are material, we will provide additional notice.
