Led design efforts for Checkout's Intelligent Acceptance product. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop Checkout's leading payment optimization engine. Designed data visualization tools to enhance payment acceptance rates for merchants.

Collaborated with a team of engineers, content designers, product managers, data analysts, and financial analysts to build and ship the cashback program for businesses. Built the MVP for a feature that allowed businesses on Wise to create sub-accounts and team budgets for better expense management. Collaborated with a team of designers to improve the information architecture for multi-user access on the Wise business app for web and mobile.

Carried out an audit of the Operance web app and shared a deck to highlight areas of improvement. Built new features in collaboration with the CTO and PM. Redesigned UI components of the Operance web application.

Set up practices for design and developer handoff due to a large team of freelance engineers on the team and also improved the efficiency of future design hires. Collaborated with the brand design team to design the brand identity of the product, including colors and the logo. Designed and iterated on the Polite mobile app based on wireframes the stakeholders shared.

Collaborated with back-end developers on the platform team to help bring design thinking and UX considerations to architectural projects. Ideated, designed, and built out a timeline web app in collaboration with stakeholders from Kast and external web engineers. Redesigned Kast Media's website, including a new page as a way to discover new shows and contact the team. Designed a new page overview for finding shows produced by Kast and how to access them.

Helped the company structure the hiring process for the design team and helped interview one more product designer and a product design intern. Helped define a new design process for new projects and restructure existing processes for ongoing projects: for example, how we work with Figma, design-developer handoffs, new user stories, and definitions of done for the design team. Started building the "Honey UI," Yellowcard's new design system. The new atomic design system contained all the building blocks for the Yellowcard app and helped both developers and designers work better. Worked with the new hires on the design team to help them understand how the design system worked and how to nest libraries with Figma. This has made work incredibly delightful. Led the design of the brand new Yellowcard mobile app that is currently being built with Flutter. Delegated tasks to members of the design team for all design-related projects and tasks that the team might need from day to day.

Planned the redesign of the Interswitch merchant portal with the product and engineering team as part of the Interswitch 360 project. Led a design team of three and created style guides and a design library for the merchant project. Hosted the library externally so the whole team could work with the files independently on Sketch. Worked with product owners to add new features like an invoice system, payment links, and subscription links for merchants to receive payments. Redesigned the merchant portal marketing website for improved conversion. Analyzed data from usability tests with designated UX researchers on the project. Led the redesign of the Quickteller Merchant portal. Worked with two other senior designers, one product owner, and a team of five developers to rebuild the merchant portal from the ground up. Led the design of the Quickteller Merchant companion mobile app for merchants to track their metrics on the go.

Designed a customer onboarding application for prospective customers of the bank to open a new account entirely online without ever needing to visit a branch. Collaborated with the design team in charge of research, product design, user testing, and validation. Helped create a detailed design library of colors, icons, components, and modules that guided the design of the project even after my departure from the team.

Designed an asset management platform for companies to keep track of assets in various locations, including the design of the Android app, iOS app, web app, and product branding. Contributed to a design for an influencer marketing application, where social media influencers are paired up with advertisers that need their services. Included designs for the native iOS application and the web platform. Led a team for the design and development of a crowdfunded loan application. Worked on the designs of the web app, Android app, iOS app, and the logo design for the platform. Worked on the Android app for a local gym in Lagos that users could use to sign in to the gym (with a QR code), sign up for various classes, pay for their gym, membership, and buy items like water. Redesigned various landing pages for different clients that wanted to get a more modern look in various industries including eCommerce, laundry services, oil and gas, and government agencies.

Designed a platform for lecturers to manage student results from examinations and tests for the University of Port Harcourt. The desktop apps were built entirely with Java, and I worked with NetBeans to design the interface with Java Swing. Led the design for the whole three-app suite and worked with three developers. Worked on the brand identity of the product, coming with a name and the logo for the suite. Designed the box art and packaging for all three applications. Designed further branding and marketing elements for the products, such as brochures and presentations. Designed the marketing website used to launch the product.
